When I found out there was a place called Disco, Wisconsin, I had to take a ride
and see for myself!

This page is dedicated to my 1997 Kawasaki Concours. After seven years of ownership
I finally decided to get something different. I was looking for something newer, lighter and easier to
handle on bad roads. I have to admit, it was difficult to sell the old girl. This was
not only the best bike I could imagine, but probably the best vehicle of any kind, I've ever owned.
I was able to sell it in only three days, which should say something about how well thought of
these bikes are to this day.  The Connie took me all over North America, and never once
broke down or left me stranded. It really was a great machine. (you can read about my exploits
on the rallies page, linked above.)  

I made a lot of modifications to the Connie for distance riding, which are listed and shown below.
The most notable though, as there's a page dedicated entirely to it, would be
my auxillary fuel cell. You can read about that project here.
