I (Chris) have been playing bass since 1996, which, in the scheme of things,
really isn't that long. For someone who can't write songs very well, and is
completely self-taught, I've been very fortunate to have been able to play in
bands with some very talented friends, That's not only made me a better player
but allowed us to play some shows that would make most local bands jealous.
Thanks to all of you who make and have made that possible - you know who you are.

The links above go to
the websites of the bands I play, or have played in.

shoot lucy:
The americana-pop-alt-whatever band that was lucky enough
to play regularly for 5-6 years at every major club in Minneapolis,
and after a hiatus of several years, is playing again.

The Beowulf Project:
The retro-metal garage band project conceived in 1989 in
Devils Lake, ND by my good friend Jeff Fox that finally made it
to the stage and recorded a CD in 2003-2004. Want to see
yours truly get smashed with a guitar? Here's your chance!

The Dagnabits:
The wild punk-country band led by Tom and Mike Kelly and formerly
known as the Balano Cowgirls. shoot lucy played with The Dagnabits
many times. I played with them from late 2004 until August 2006,
when I was replaced for reasons that are not entirely clear to me.

The other two links go to a listing of my musical gear past and present,
as well as a (probably incomplete) list of the bands I've seen in concert over the
years. I've wanted to compile this for awhile while I still have enough brainpower
to list them all...enjoy!
