Motorcycles
Since 2001 or so, one of my main hobbies has been motorcycles.
Pictured above is my current ride, a 2003 Honda ST1300ABS.
Before that, I rode a 2008 Buell XB12XT Ulysses, and prior to that, I owned a 1997 Kawasaki ZG1000 Concours, nicknamed the Green Monster. I purchased it in 2003 with 5000 miles on it. I traveled all over the country on that bike – I really loved that motorcycle, but I sold itin June of 2009 when I bought the Buell. It was my second bike. The first was a 1982 Yamaha XS400 Maxim, which I gave to a friend.
I also had a 1980 Suzuki GS1100L that I partially restored in 2004. It belonged to my friend Dave Nahan, guitarist in our band shoot lucy. It turned into more of a project than I’d thought it would. I sold that bike in the Spring of 2008.
